Approach
Built production variance reporting over ProCount data in Snowflake with Sigma dashboards for a US upstream operator, plus daily production (days vs. depth) reporting over WellView drilling data. Variance reporting is where production accounting meets operations - allocated volumes against expectations, with the discrepancies that drive real decisions. I developed the Snowflake layer, built the dashboards, and managed the workflow from data development through stakeholder validation, delivery, and adoption.

The variance question
Every operator asks the same question daily: why did this well produce less than expected? Answering it requires production accounting data, allocation logic, and operational context to agree with each other. The reporting layer built here makes the variance visible, traceable to source, and consistent with the same master data used everywhere else in the platform.
